TECHNICAL

COMFORT

Through thoughtful material selection, sensibly planned features and flexibility of controls, our priority is to ensure guest comfort

From the first experience stepping on the smooth entry tile, transitioning to the texture of the plush carpet under foot, all materials are carefully researched and selected with guest experience in mind

A carefully curated colour palette combines a selection of soft hues creating a restful and inviting aesthetic

Enhanced lighting with dimmable controls provides flexibility and allows guests the ability to tailor lighting level to one’s desired ambience

Fire detectors are intentionally relocated achieving further guest comfort by reducing distraction from red light over guest sleeping areas

ACCESSIBILITY

Layout and scale of proposed furnishings provide unimpeded access throughout hotel suite

Design and location of guest suite controls are intentionally planned with ease of access and use in mind

Lighting requirements including desired output, location and colour temperature, are carefully calculated ensuring accurate lighting levels are achieved through design

Accessible hardware required by provincial building code, including grab bars and safety fixtures, are thoughtfully incorporated and provide a guest space that accommodates a range of abilities

SUSTAINABILITY

Material selections are consciously considered for durability and longevity, such as the robust carpeting and quality underlayment that is accompanied by a 10-year warranty

Washroom surfaces, such as the elegantly durable quartz tile, are specified to withstand the test of time and maintain their aesthetic for years to come

Ergonomically designed seating is upholstered with durable hospitality-grade, fire-rated textiles that are tested to high industry standards ensuring heavy-use performance with the look and feel of luxurious fabric

Horizontal surfaces are finished with sustainable quartz material, featuring longer life replacement and recyclability

Recyclable and energy efficient light bulbs are specified to reduce energy consumption

Construction materials, casegoods and millwork are carefully manufactured with focus on sustainable construction and materials

Sustainable practices, including recycling of material packaging wherever possible, are encouraged and employed throughout life of project from initial design to project completion

HOUSEKEEPING &

MAINTENANCE

Ease of accessibility and cleanability is a considered priority for all material selections

Furnishing review with hotel staff conducted to ensure necessary features, for ease of cleanability and maintenance, are addressed

Manufacturer’s maintenance and cleaning documentation provided, where available, for specified furnishings
